Road Closure Notice - Griffith Avenue Mile, September 22nd 2024
Dear Residents,
This notice is to inform you of the road closure to enable the running of the Griffith Avenue Mile.
On Sunday September 22nd there will be a closure of all road traffic on Griffith Avenue between Upper Drumcondra Road and the Malahide Road between 14:30 - 16:00hrs to facilitate the safe running of the event. This will mean no traffic will be able to join or cross Griffith Avenue between these points.
Race marshals will be posted at each junction to ensure the safety of all participants, supported by An Garda Síochána.
Access to emergency vehicles will be maintained throughout.
The race organisers will endeavour to keep the road closure as short as possible.
A road closure notice which can be downloaded here is being delivered to households in the local area in the coming days and we will be posting details of this notice to our social media channels and will communicate it to all local residents associations.
