Live music at the Griffith Avenue Mile post race event

As is now customary, we’re planning an exciting post race event hosted by our partners in DCU All Hallows right after the Griffith Avenue Mile race on Sunday September 17th.

To entertain you this year, we’re delighted to announce that we’ll be joined by East Galway three-piece band The CEOs.

They are a high energy group renowned for their musical talent and professionalism. The group blend elements of Classic Rock, Blues, Americana and Folk with their own acoustic panache taking inspiration from groups such as The Eagles and Fleetwood Mac. Hailing from Loughrea, the group are garnering a strong base with every gig and are certainly ones to watch for the future.

Also performing during the day both on Griffith Avenue during the race, and at the post race event are Ceoltóirí Chluain Tarbh. We’re lucky to have had this wonderful traditional group join us at every race since we brought it back in 2019, and we’re very much looking forward to them performing again this year.
