Griffith Avenue Mile 2020 Statement

As everyone would understand, it is with regret that the Griffith Avenue Mile organising committee can confirm that the proposed 2020 Griffith Avenue Mile event will be postponed until it is safe to run.

Having hosted a hugely successful event in 2019 for the first time in 36 years, it immediately became clear to us that there was huge support to stage the event again in 2020. Unfortunately due to the Covid-19 pandemic this will clearly not be possible.

We look forward to welcoming our community of athletes, local families and all those interested in the future for an even bigger and better event when it’s safe to do so. Keep an eye on our website, and social media channels below for our future plans.
