Eamonn Coghlan announced as official starter for the Griffith Avenue Mile on September 22nd
August 19th, 2019 - Marino, Dublin – Organisers of the Griffith Avenue Mile event are delighted to announce that Eamonn Coghlan, 3-time Olympian and former 5,000m World Champion will be the guest of honour and official race starter for the event on September 22nd.
Eamonn was himself part of the original 'Dublin Straight mile' event in November 1983, coming in 5th place.
